4 most beautiful cities of the world

1. Hong Kong: apparently having 4 of the 15 tallest towers in the world will make you the number 1 city!it is beautiful at night though, the magnificent architecture of the high rise buildings in hong kong is breath taking.

2. Chicago: ok im a little surprised since New York is the greatest city in the world in my green eyes! but Chicago was the birth of sky scrapers, surprisingly, they built the first sky scraper in chicago in 1885! the chicago park district is amazing, and the city at night, is a colorful masterpiece.

3. Shanghai: the beautiful city indeed.. although i would freak out and invest in a private jet to NOT drive over the crazy Nanpu bridge, i still cant deny its amazing. buildings are excessively tall, but beautifully designed and unique, and houses are authentic asian beauties.

5. Tokyo: the most populated city by FAR! 32 million people! Technologically advanced, with great tall buildings, Japan is one of the most sophisticated asian countries, yet it still held on to its traditions. the cherry blossom festivals, the houses, the culture, the music, the geishas, its all so magical!

Australians blame the U.S. for WikiLeaks filtration

According to the Australian Foreign Ministry “the United States has to blame the one who leaked hundreds of thousands of secret diplomatic cables from the country, not the WikiLeaks site.”

Kevin Rudd, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia, said “the founder of WikiLeaks, the Australian Julian Assange, is not responsible for the unauthorized release of 250 000 documents from the network of U.S. diplomatic communications.”

“The Americans are responsible for that.” “The question here is about their security and the level of people with access to that material for a long time.”

Julian Assange is under police custody in London while it is being decided whether he will be extradited to Sweden, whose authorities are calling him for an alleged sex crime.

Apple's 'Mecca Project'

On October 10, 2006, an Islamic website posted a message alerting Muslims to what it claims is a new insult to Islam. According to the message, the cube-shaped building which is being constructed in New York City, on Fifth Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets in midtown Manhattan, is clearly meant to provoke Muslims. The fact that the building resembles the Ka'ba (see picture below), is called "Apple Mecca," is intended to be open 24 hours a day like the Ka'ba, and moreover, contains bars selling alcoholic beverages, constitutes a blatant insult to Islam. The message urges Muslims to spread this alert, in hope that "Muslims will be able to stop the project."
From The Register we learn that it's a bit late to stop the project since the store opened for business back in May (gee, too bad). However, the building is not called the "Apple Mecca", it "does not serve alcoholic beverages, and neither Jack Straw nor Salman Rushdie work behind the counter." So the outraged members of what many believe to be the religion of perpetual outrage should be able to breathe more easily, until they find some other ridiculous offense to become outraged over - again.

Shanghai Expo 2010

Expo Shanghai 2010
Brief intro to World Expo 2010 Shanghai China May 1 to October 31, 2010

World Expositions are galleries of human inspirations and thoughts. Since 1851 when the Great Exhibition of Industries of All Nations was held in London, the World Expositions have attained increasing prominence as grand events for economic, scientific, technological and cultural exchanges, serving as an important platform for displaying historical experience, exchanging innovative ideas, demonstrating esprit de corps and looking to the future.

With a long civilisation, China favours international exchange and loves world peace. China owes its successful bid for the World Exposition in 2010 to the international community's support for and confidence in its reform and opening-up. The Exposition will be the first registered World Exposition in a developing country, which gives expression to the expectations the world's people place on China's future development.

Fall-Winter Skin Care Tips for Radiant Skin …

Summer time is great. Your skin feels young and alive. But as winter approaches your skin begins to dry and you feel uncomfortably and itchy.

1. Drink water …
Hydrate your skin from within by drinking lots of water. Carry a bottle with you when you go outside. Herbal tea is also great when it's really cold. Your skin will soon have a healthy glow. So drink up and don't let your skin go thirsty

2. Humidifier …
One good option would be to put moisture back into the air. A humidifying system can help your skin remain supple instead of cracked and dry. You can buy a system from your local drug store.

3. Exfoliate …
A good boy scrub and facial exfoliant can help remove dead skin cells from your body. Add this to your cleansing routine once a week. Not only will you feel fresh but your skin will be free from all that old dry cells. Now you're ready to moisturize!

4. Oil based moisturizer …
This will help protect your skin from moisture loss. Choose one that comes in an ointment form as it will contain 80% oil. Creams and lotions may tend to dry out the skin rather than keep it moisturized and soft.

5. Flaxseed oil …
Although it doesn't taste very great flaxseed oil can moisturize your body from the inside. Since it is rich in vital fatty acids it can do a lot for your overall health. It is available in oil form as well as in capsule form

6. Oil bath …
Now how does a jojoba oil or sweet almond bath sound to you? Relaxing isn't it! You don't have to keep these for holidays. Nourish you skin by adding a few drops of these oils into your every day bath. It will do wonders for your skin.

7. No blow dry …
Yes, sadly so. The blow drier is not your friend in winter. Try the tousled look or the wavy style this winter. Hot air dries out your scalp and can irritate your skin as well. So give the blow drier a miss this cold season

8. Don't lick ...
... your lips we mean. If you do, you'll only chap your lips even more. Keep a lip balm in your purse and apply it when you're tempted!

The 9 Best Winter Foods

Pomelo
Pomelos pack flavanones, a class of antioxidants that have been shown to help prevent the spread of cancerous cells. Include them in a topping for a dessert sorbet

Kale
To temper kale's bitter taste, gently sauté it with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, chopped garlic, and pine nuts.

Guava
One cup of raw guava contains more than 8,500 micrograms of the antioxidant lycopene, which may help prevent coronary artery disease. Pair it with blue cheese and figs for a snack

Beets
Wrap one or two beets in foil and bake them in a 350 degree-F oven for an hour or until they're cooked through. Then cut them into cubes to toss into a salad of greens and crumbled goat cheese. Add a drizzle of walnut oil

Brussels Sprouts
Remove the outer layer of leaves, trim the stems, and toss with olive oil and sea salt. Place them on a baking sheet and roast at 425 degree-F until they're nicely browned

Kiwifruit
One kiwi contains about 100 milligrams of immunity-boosting vitamin C. Add kiwi slices to a spinach salad.

Leeks
Many restaurants offer potato-leek soup in the winter, but you can also finely slice leeks and add them to omelets, salads, and rice

Persimmon
The antioxidants in persimmons can help control diabetes and the cell damage it causes. Serve the fruit with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella

Pomegranate seeds are high in polyphenols, plant chemicals that fight inflammation. Mix the seeds into oatmeal for more flavor and crunch .
