World Second Largest River

The Amazon Rainforest, also recognised as Amazonia or the Amazon jungle. It covers seven million square kilometers (1.7 billion acres), although the forest itself takes about 5.5 million square kilometers (1.4 billion acres). It is placed within eight countries Brazil , Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador , Colombia , Venezuela, Guyana and Suriname, as well as French Guiana.

The Amazon River Basin is base to the biggest rainforest on Earth, eleven times the intensity of the Mississippi, and debilitates an area equivalent weight in size to the United States.

The Amazon River is the largest river in the world by volume, with a total flow rate bigger than the top ten rivers world combined. It is the second longest river in the world after the Nile. It calculates for about fifth part of the total world river flow. It has the largest drainage area on the satellite. Not a single bridge passes over the Amazon.
